Planning and Investments department, started during diocese establishment. The former name of the department was directorate of projects and development, which changed after the change in the diocese organization structure, 2015.

The department coordinates and supports other departments such as gender and development, finance, administration office, social services, and mission and evangelism. It is also responsible for planning for investments and other operational activities for sustaining diocese operations. It also keeps General Secretary updated through different situation reports.

The department is comprised of two sections that are programs planning and Investment.
